This is just a safety measure to keep RL people from reading my journal. I'm quite friendly, so if you're interested in reading my posts about my life, korean and japanese drama, anime/manga, and other random stuff, just comment and I'll add you back!
Well, I was going to write a post explaining why Damon/Elena should happen, but this video just about explains it.
This is what I'm watching at the moment:GAME OF THRONES
I haven't read the books, even though I already own the first volume of The Song of Ice & Fire. Not obsessed with it, but I think it's an awesome, really well done, tv series. Very high quality, imho. The characters are also amazing. My favorite characters are: Arya, the Imp and Daenerys. I still have to google to get the names right, though. Oh, and I already ship Arya/Gendry. Is it wrong of me? I've a feeling he dies further on.THE KING 2HEARTS
The only asian drama I'm watching at the moment. Really, really good and surprising. I mean, it doesn't follow cliches. At the beginning, we couldn't predict what was going to happen, if the characters were acting their real feeling or just messing with the other. Right now, the series took a serious turn and it's even better! The actors are doing an amazing job, just watching their facial expressions tells a whole tale. The villain is beyond crazy, can't wait to see how they destroy him.THE VAMPIRE DIARIES
O.B.S.E.S.S.E.D. That is what I am. I watched the first 2 seasons and what had been released of the 3rd (18 eps) in 4 or 5 days. Obviously, I sacrificed a lot of sleep. It's been a long long time since I'd done something like it. I think the last time I sacrificed sleep for something, it was to read the Harry Potter books, which I couldn't put down to sleep. Anyways, I LOVE IT! I can't thank my cousin enough for reccing it to me. I just joined Tumblr and 80% of the blogs I follow there share Damon/Elena GIFs. Damon/Elena is my OTP... I can only compare this level of obsession to my love of HP and H/Hr from 6 years ago (more or less).
About the series... my favorite characters are: Damon Salvatore (always!!), Alaric and Caroline (after being turned into a vampire and when she's not on TeamStephan!mode). I like Elena most of the time, except when she's being "ohmyGodStephan" and "Idon'tknowwhatIfeel". I DON'T like Bonnie and Jeremy, I think they're both annoying and I hope either someone hits their head very hard so they change their personalities or they die.
I love that everyone isn't 100% bad or 100% good. There's a balance and it makes they characters real.
The only thing I think is bad quality are the werewolves... not when they're changing (which is cringe worthy) but when they're in wolf form. They're like dogs and not scary at all... why couldn't they make them like the direwolves in Game of Thrones?
My view of Damon/Elena is worthy of a post of its own, I think, so I'll leave it for later.
I've had The Time Traveler's Wife
on my shelf for quite some time already, but it wasn't until I saw the trailer for the upcoming movie that I really felt compelled to read it. I do that a lot, sometimes I hear about a good book or read good reviews or become interested by the back cover, that I end up buying the book but can't read it right away; then I read or see something else that makes me interested again and I have to start right away. It happened with Twilight too. I remember I was on Amazon looking for good books to buy and I came upon this book with hands holding an apple on the cover, read the summary and first chapter and got hooked. I think New Moon wasn't even out. I saved it on my wishlist and always thought of buying it, but I can't buy things on a whim from Amazon, because shipping costs a lot to me... after a while, I read a review of the first two books on my flist (I think New Moon had been just released) and had to immediately buy them!
If you're interested, here's the trailer:
On the subject of movies, I'm pretty excited for HBP! Weird, right? I HATED the book. When was it released? Can't remember, but I read the last two books last year again for the second time (a rare fact, since the previous books I read like 4 times each, and the second time usually just after reading it for the first time) and decided that I didn't HATE the book as much, only felt indifferent towards it, since I didn't care anymore about the pairings 'cause I knew what would happen. When I focused on Harry and the trio as a TRIO (not potentional couples) I enjoyed it a bit more. And the movie looks so good!
All that is left of HP are the movies and the fandom. In fandom, I could say I changed ships to Draco/Hermione since I haven't read a H/Hr fic since what feels like forever. I still like H/Hr, just don't read their fic anymore. So, on this subject, I'd like to rec a D/Hr fic called The Fallout
by Sage. I love it. Draco and Hermione are so in character, the author is really talented in that she makes you feel emotionally invested in the story. There are a lot of touching scenes. Well, just give it a try and you'll see.
I'm pretty sure most of you have already seen the video of Susan Boyle in Britain's Got Talent show. I love watching this kind of talent shows (though I hate the shows where the judges are mean) because I'm always inspired by these people who have been living simple and unknown lives, although they have amazing talents; they either didn't have the opportunity, or had to give up their chance in favor of a job with more security, that would provide for their families, and I'm touched by how they never gave up on their dreams, even though they chose not to (or couldn't) act upon them.
Brazil also has these shows, and I'm constantly amazed by how many wonderful talents there are in this country and never get the chance to be in the spotlight. We have a lot of terrible musicians who are famous because of their sexy dances or stupid lyrics while these people with REAL voices are hidden. I get goosebumps whenever I listen to them. However, one of the things that I don't like is when the contestants choose an english song and are unable to sing the lyrics correctly, I mean, they just make the sounds (amazing sounds, true) and get the lyrics all wrong, and that's sort of distracting for someone who knows english. Still, it doesn't stop them from being good at singing.
So, the point to this post is to show you one of our brazilian talents. There are many of them, but I won't put a video of one of them singing an english song 'cause I'm sure you'd be as distracted as I was when I listened to them; for that reason I chose one singing in italian. I bet someone who speaks italian would hear the errors, if there are any, but that's not my case so I'm putting this on.
LOL. I loooove watching the judges's faces.
And while searching for more BGT, I found this one which is very similiar to the brazilian. They're singing the same song. I don't know which one is the best, but it's undeniable that both are amazing, right? Though I prefer the english guy myself, he seems more humble and shy, I don't know.
I bet this guy got a lot of attention, but why haven't I heard about him before?
So that's it for today. Hope everyone's well. I have a long weekend ahead (no classes on monday and tuesday, yay!), and I hope I'll be able to find something else to do other than stay all day in front of the computer. Seriously, how was I able to spend DAYS on the internet, without going outside? Well, tonight I'll probably go out with a friend and tomorrow is my mom's birthday party so at least until then I'll have something to do. Oh, and on Sunday I'm going to the amusiment park with friends!
Stay safe y'all! <3
I don't know how to do that sparkly thing, I lost the link you gave me, but it's the feeling that counts, right? :) Soo..
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CYNTHIAAA!
I hope you have a fantastic day, with all the things and people you love! I wish you all the happiness in the world, 'cause you deserve it and much more! And I'm very glad to be your friend *GLOMPS*

Guh, it's taking so long, I hope you'll like what I'm going to send you ;) And the letter keeps getting longer and longer... hehe :P But don't worry, it won't be anywhere near the size of a book (haha! :P just joking)
To my other LJ friends: I loff you tooooooo!! And I'll be back next week, hopefully! (I think uni will give me a little break then..)
Miss you all very much!
*back to RL now*
I'm sorry I still can't give LJ much attention yet... I'm very very busy with university and the only time I can be online is when I'm in my webdesign or some other class ( rovita

I'm only able to stop one minute 'cause I'm not able to go on and on doing things without resting for a little bit. Yeah, that's 'cause I've always been lazy and always want some time to myself, and when I get time to myself.. I listen to some music or read a book (I've been reading Anne of Green Gables :)) ... I'll tell you all what I've been up to when I have more time.. possibly next week or the other. >_< ugh! I KNOW! I don't want to be away for so long, but.. RL comes first, right? *sigh*
Hope everything's all right with you. Those hurricanes are scary, eh? O_O And it's one after the other, they don't give you a break! Gee.. go away! *hugs everybody on the hurricane's path* Stay safe!
I'll see you next week, I guess.. *glomps madly* Miss you all terribly!
